U.S. Army Technical Center for Explosives Safety (USATCES) supports Army munition operations and management globally through the execution of Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) G4 Logistics Review and Technical Assistance Office (LRTAO) reviews of ammunition logistics, surveillance, and explosives safety operations. USATCES is responsible for the technical execution and management of all Army-wide explosives safety, munitions risk management, storage, transportation, and chemical agent safety aspects related to the technical implementation of the Department of the Army (DA) explosives safety program.
