Ungraded knowledge checks are distributed throughout the content to provide students with immediate feedback about their level of understanding in each topic. Graded multiple choice questions are provided at the end of each course. 75% of these must be answered correctly to complete the course. After three unsuccessful attempts to do so, the course will be marked as unsuccessful.

Description: This course satisfies functional and refresher training requirements for personnel requiring a fundamental understanding of the logistical terminology used to identify and manage ammunition stockpiles as prescribed by DoD 5160.68, AR 385-10, and DA PAM 385-64. Course content includes a review of regulatory guidance applicable to the identification of ammunition, as well as training on the use and interpretation of ammunition color coding, special markings, National Stock Numbers (NSNs), DoD Identification Codes (DODICs), and ammunition lot numbers and propellant lot numbers.

Audience: Personnel requiring a fundamental understanding of the logistical terminology used to identify and manage ammunition stockpiles as prescribed by DoD 5160.68, AR 385-10, and DA PAM 385-64.

Length: Approximately 2 hours (self-paced learning).

Special Information: This course is a web-based (online) course. Students must have web access and a CAC card. Students must register through ATRRS for course credit. A high-speed Internet connection is recommended to complete the course.
