Description: This course satisfies functional training requirements for personnel who require a fundamental understanding of physical security requirements for ammunition and explosives. Course content includes a comprehensive review of regulatory guidance applicable to Department of Army physical security program requirements for the storage of ammunition and explosives. This course specifically provides training on the interpretation and application of AR 190-11 (Physical Security of Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives) and FEDLOG to determine Controlled Item Inventory Codes (CIICs) and associated security risk categories, physical security measures for ammunition and explosives sites, and special requirements for Security Risk Categories I and II.

Audience: Personnel requiring a fundamental understanding of Army physical security requirements as prescribed by DoD 5160.68 and AR 190-11. NOTE: This course is rated FD3.

Length: Approximately 2 hours (self-paced learning).

Special Information: This course is a web-based (online) course. Students must have web access and a CAC card. Students must register through ATRRS for course credit. A high-speed Internet connection is recommended to complete the course.
