Description: This course satisfies mandatory training requirements for the certification of personnel working in A&E operations as prescribed by AMC-R 350-4 and Logistics Functional Community Fellows as prescribed by AR 690-950. This course provides technical training in properly applying regulations governing the storage, inventory, and physical security of A&E, as well as concepts critical to conducting A&E storage functions to include drawings, planographs, placards, packaging, compatibility, security construction statements, Controlled Item Inventory Codes (CIICs), and Net Explosives Weight (NEW).

Audience: Personnel requiring certification training in conducting A&E storage functions as prescribed by AMC-R 350-4 and Logistics Functional Community Fellows as prescribed by AR 690-950. NOTE: This course is rated FD3 and not available to International Military Students.

Length: 5 Days.

Required Equipment: Students are required to bring safety shoes and clothing suitable for participating in a field training exercise within an A&E storage area.

Prerequisites: Completion of Course No. 9E-F67/920-F35 (DL), INTRODUCTION TO AMMUNITION (CERT), offered by the Defense Ammunition Center (DAC) via distance learning (DL) is highly recommended for personnel who are not Logistics Functional Community Fellows.

The DAC awards 3.8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) on the course certificate for successful completion of this course.
